When estimating the costs of motorcycle insurance, you should look at the extent of the cover you require and the optional features, if any. You can get at least a 10 percent discount on motorcycle insurance if you are a member of a motorcycle club. Some insurers also offer motorcycle club members a discount of £20.00 on their policies. • You can get compensated if you lose your earnings or are injured due to an accident that was not your fault. Your legal fees are paid and you also get a motorcycle if yours is destroyed in the accident.

• You can get compensation if you need emergency treatment after an accident. This option also provides compensation to your family and yourself in case of accidental death, loss of sight, hearing, speech or limbs and permanent total disability.

Make an annual payment or split the payment into monthly instalments for a motorcycle insurance policy. The monthly instalment scheme does not cover drivers under 18, with a poor credit history or with an insurance cover less than £130.
